     Easter

Do you eat the ears first?

by Sandy Kemsley

Julie and Jamie think Easter is so much fun. They go downstairs and find their Easter basket.

Oh how pretty! Julies basket had pink grass, lots of jellybeans, marshmallow chicks, and a big chocolate bunny. Jamies basket had green grass, jellybeans, and marshmallows, and a big chocolate bunny. The chocolate bunny was their favorite.

Julie loved to eat the ears. She loved them so much she always ate them first. She would nibble at the tip and work her way down. Julie took her time. She wanted the chocolate bunny to last a while.

Jamie love to eat the ears. She loved them so much she always ate them last. She says she saved the best for last.

Sometimes it was days before she ate the ears. Ummm, they were so good.

Do you eat the ears first? Or, do you eat the ears last?

Tell what you do on Easter Sunday.
